After experiencing issues with NatWest Mortgages on renewing an agreement in principal, we were advised by our estate agents to try Ignite, their recommended financial advisors This put me in touch with Matt, who not only did a fantastic job of sorting it out, but also got us a better rate (with NatWest) than what NatWest themselves were offering! Being a first home buyer can make this process a bit daunting and overwhelming at times, but with the support from Mike and his team at Ignite, we had completed our paperwork within 2 days and submitted our mortgage application to the bank. Dealing with the bank up to that point had proven time consuming (3 weeks) and confusing which is why we decided to work with a broker. Despite the stamp duty holiday increasing the numbers of applications, this didn't delay the process or impact the professionalism of Mike and his team and the forms we had to complete were straight forward to complete. Mike also provide prompt and clear guidance when we needed it, and without fuss. If you want a broker who will thoroughly support you throughout your application and take away all the pressure, we highly recommend using Ignite as a broker. We first contacted IGNITE Mortgage advice service prior to our house hunt as we were very much uncertain if there was a way out for us to keeping the existing flat as a let to buy and possibly taking the equity out to buy a new house. I have used Ignite Financial Services for both a re-mortgage on my own property and buy-to-let mortgages. Both Mike and Paul are incredibly friendly, helpful and very efficient. With a few simple questions, they search for the best options, prepare the paperwork and take all the hassle out of the application process. On the last occasion, I had thought it would be easy to borrow back the overpayments I had made on my existing mortgage to fund some building work. Despite the mortgage terms allowing it, trying to deal with customers services at my existing mortgage provider proved to be tortuous. After hours hanging on the phone repeating answers to questions and going over the same information time and time again, I found I wasn’t even being offered the best available rates being advertised on the company’s website. At that point I decided it would be better to re-mortgage and called Ignite. In one brief meeting Paul explored the options, found me a much better deal and completed the application process. A month or so later the money was in my account and the building work under way.

I have been using Ignite FS, in particular Mike Poskovic, since I bought my first property. The service is always excellent and very efficient. I was continually updated with the progress of my application/applications keeping me informed which I like as sometimes processes such as these can drag on and on. Sometimes going through a call centre with a lender can be frustrating always talking to someone different but with Ignite they get the best rates whilst taking away a lot of the stress and time of trying to deal with this yourself. I recently changed my mortgage rate and Ignite took care of everything from start to finish with very minimal effort and time from my side. I gave a few documents to them which they needed, they came back with various options and a few weeks later my mortgage payment was reduced by nearly 35%!
Would highly recommend if you want quick, honest, stress free financial or mortgage advice.
